We watched it last night, although I fell asleep towards the end. We felt pretty much the same.
The original character designs really made me wish this team would just commit to a movie about just that. Wow that was incredible. I've never been a fan of what Abrams did-soooo generic looking. Still have to finish Earthrise though.
