Here you go. It's been a whole five months since 6.0 was announced. That's plenty of time to move on to the next-lol!So what we just skip PCIe 6?
I just don't get the standards cadence. I probably shouldn't care to be honest. Here you go. It's been a whole five months since 6.0 was announced. That's plenty of time to move on to the next-lol!

I agree. At this point it's all about picking a platform you want to be on and settling down with it. I've got my X570 done the way I want it and PCIe 4.0 is plenty for me atm.I just don't get the standards cadence. I pr9ba ly shouldn't care to be honest.
well pcie6 spec has been released. pcie7 is still in planning. So what we just skip PCIe 6? We're just getting 5. SLOW THE FUDGE DOWN. lol.
I am picturing NVME drives that need dedicated power and independent water cooling loops but it serves data before you request it thanks to quantum dot requests.
