Man... I see where Intel is going with this (nowhere near consumers...) but they really could have pulled a fast one and put some extra cache on this SKU. Would have made an excellent interim X3D competitor.

Yep, saw this the other day and almost posted about it. Some folks were saying it didn't matter much due to how much it costs to obtain a single CPU since these are mainly only available in bulk for OEMs. Still cool though!

I just finished a two hour Hell Let Loose session and the game feels much smoother than with my tuned 14900KS+8400C4 profile. The average FPS is 10-15% higher, but the 1% lows are much lower. So this 12 P core configuration addresses one of the causes of stutter which is either less P-cores or or thread directing with Ecores present, or a combination thereof. However, the 1% lows are like 70 instead of 90-100 with the 14900KS.

Impressive fps achieved with just DDR5-5600. Imagine if this CPU had been unlocked. Naysayers were wrong then. Intel gaslighted everyone by saying that this chip only matters for industrial use. It's a gaming chip that was demoted because of Arrow Lake. SHAME ON YOU, INTEL!
