Possible Announcement for New Fable Game Coming on July 23rd

It has been nearly 16 years since Fable was released, and roughly 10 years since the third installment. That’s not counting the collectible card game released a few years back. After denying the existence of a new game, it seems Microsoft could be telling a new Fable soon. We already know that it is planning a big event, on July 23rd, with its first-party Xbox Games Showcase. Now, it seems, another reveal could be happening. Klobrille, a well-known insider, had the following to say on ResetEra.

Wow... Thats a really good point that should not be forgotten.
Not saying a new game cant be good but it likely wont have that same soul and feeling from the OG Fable.
All for being proven wrong here though.

Fable was Peter Molyneux's baby, so I can't imagine what a new game will look like. Molyneux left Lionhead in 2012, 4 years before Microsoft shut the studio down.
 
Xbox Games Showcase just confirmed there is a new Fable game being made, and it's being made by Playground Games. It's the last premiere in the show.
