CD PROJEKT RED has dropped a stunning 6-minute cinematic trailer for The Witcher IV debuting Ciri as the next game's main character. One other detail regarding the new trailer, which was revealed at The Game Awards 2024, is that it was rendered using a yet unannounced NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, with CES 2025 right around the corner it's already rumored that CEO Jensen Huang could be planning something tied to the game and the RTX 50 series launch.

Always wished we got to use Ciri more often in the 3rd game, as her gameplay had some potential, so I'm glad she's the focus of the next game. I was wondering if they might take that route with their next game, and indeed it seems they have. We'll see where they go from here.

I'm pretty excited about this. Some folks out there are complaining about her appearance being a bit roughed up compared to the 3rd game but I actually like it. After all, being a Witcher doesn't exactly leave one looking like a Barbie doll forever, just ask Eskel. However, I'm a bit bummed they did replace the original voice actress but the new one, at least here, sounds good imho.

Would be sweet if she remembers Geralt and it's Henry cavil doing the voice work.
I definitely like Henry's live-action portrayal but Doug's rendition is definitive for me (like Kevin C is for Batman) and was obviously the direct inspiration for Henry, but again, I did like Henry's version as well.
