Whats your favorite Windows File Explorer Alternative?

Yes you can view and navigate your files .... but if you want to do stuff out of the normal what do you use?

I use Directory Opus for my windows pcs.

It has been around since the old Amiga and gets better and better with each new release.

I'm running the pro edition. Well worth the cost.

I have tried a whole bunch of them and this is what I found is best by a very long margin.

I have never used an alternative to windows explorer, ever. What limitations am I experiencing which I am unaware? (ignorance is bliss)

Same here. I don't think I even knew there options out there! I though Explorer was hard baked into the Kernel

I don't use alternatives to Windows explorer. It works fine.

It's pretty rare to need more than a few 'file manager' windows open at one time, and Explorer seems to still do a pretty decent job. My only real complaint is when it comes to mapped drives that can't be reached; the process seems to crap itself for something like ten minutes which makes it tedious to remove broken mapped / shared drive listings.

I've always wondered about using alternate file explorers in Windows OSes, but I never have.
