  1. MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card Review

I bought the 4080 16GB VENTUS 3X OC from BB, getting it next week. I'm lazy, and dont feel like upgrading my PSU for a 4090. I have a SFF setup and when I get a new PSU I'd like it to be 12VHPWR ready. Not many of those around yet. I'll re-think the 4090 option when the time comes, if needed...
  2. Samsung to Build $17 Billion Chip Plant in Taylor, Texas

I think it would be best for Texas to leave the United States of America. It would also be best for the United States of America. Win-Win.
  3. Samsung to Build $17 Billion Chip Plant in Taylor, Texas

I thought it was against the law to be liberal in Texas?

  5. EVGA Blames GeForce RTX 3090 New World Failures on Soldering Issue

Ya, they had the RMA train up and running pretty fast too. Thru all the GPU misery we had EVGA has at least kept prices close to MSRP and customer service on course. They are always the first option for me. Now gimme MITX B550 EVGA plx....Or any MITX MB actually.

  8. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Graphics Cards Expected to Launch Sooner than Expected, Will Be Built on TSMC’s 5-Nanometer Process

Depends on the game right? I always expect AAA titles that are released after the launch of a new GPU series to challenge the hardware, sometimes bringing it to it's knees. Part of the fun isnt it? :)
  9. AMD Continues to Lose Graphics Card Market Share to NVIDIA

    A bit related.....? https://www.guru3d.com/news_story/tsmc_to_increase_chip_production_prices_by_10_to_20_percent.html
  10. AMD Continues to Lose Graphics Card Market Share to NVIDIA

Nvidia has been offering more for your money for a while now. It's easy to belittle their drive to innovate as marketing fluff or whatever but reality is they are ahead of AMD and probably will be for quite a while. As Dan suggests, at MSRP there is no reason to go AMD.
  11. AMD Continues to Lose Graphics Card Market Share to NVIDIA

I paid $800 for my RTX 3080 from the EVGA que. $1800 seems a bit steep yeah.
  12. LG to Launch 42-Inch OLED Gaming TVs in Early 2022
