Having worked in this industry, I can say most production companies claim a significant portion or all of the ticket money. The bigger the company (disney?), the worse the deal. Some will demand 100% for the first x weeks. Depending on the movie. Remember the big stink over the last jedi stuff...
I would still take the kids to the theater at least annually as long as something good played. They can do first run to home and just rotate the theater lineup. (Older flicks too) It’s a fun outing that we all enjoy. Like going to a baseball game, the ticket price isn’t all you’ll spend. It’s...
I’m not really able to get into vr, so I’m happy to hear they’re open to the idea. Their goal to be that “must have” vr title would encourage them to lock it down. I’m glad they’re not focused entirely on that goal alone.
Interesting. Neat and well executed idea, but that seems like a lot of work for a max theoretical gain of 10°. Does this phenomenon apply to all coolers or waterblocks, or just aio’s with smaller jet plates?
Amd auto overclock is fairly aggressive, doe this lead to better numbers? I only noticed...
Pivot gamestop to fill some of the void left from toysrus. Smaller sq footage, but a fun enough place for kids to want to go, and encourage customer engagement so people play with and buy stuff.
Original, unmolested versions, not included. :(
Come'on Disney, give back a little to the old fans. Just re rip the Lazer disk versions to Blu Ray and the people would rejoice.
In order for them to continue the series, passing the torch is inevitable. Whom ever they pick will upset some, but hopefully they pick someone that at least works/fits even if not universally liked. I’d hope Hollywood learned something over the last decade. Maybe they can find a different theme...
I normally run mid tier gpus and water cool for fun/noise. (Or buy a few gen old high end used, just for the block support) I don’t need top end and the water cooling setup is more fulfilling to me than putting $1000 into a gpu. With gpu prices going to the moon, this may become more common...
It’s not like they’re loosing money. They just don’t want to risk another wii U. They also don’t have enough IP to really push forward. The switch is 3 years old and still sells at the same price it did at release. That’s saying something.
If they’d stick to doing EU stuff and keep it diverse, they could probably crank out some profitable movies. I’ve said it before, but solo flopped because of timing, not quality. I wouldn’t say it was the best thing ever, but I would pay to see things like that mixed with TOR or even pre first...
I’m perfectly fine with cosmetic mtx. I’m perfectly fine with premium servers or on f2p games: grind skipping. Heck, with f2p, I’ll excuse a lot of mtx, it’s explicitly in the business model.
But for the love of god, keep that crap away from full price titles. If I pay $60 for a game and you...
