I know a lot of us are hoping for the bubble to burst, and it's definitley spewing some leaks right now but we all know that nobody will completely abandon such enormous investments. They'll do whatever it takes to rework the money flow to reduce losses and more than a few of us have already seen a future where hardware will depend on cloud-based support to provide premium features; i.e. we're probably on a path for GPUs that depend on cloud options to provide next-gen features while they reduce the amount of hardware in a graphics card. It's a horrible concept, but this writing is also on the wall and whether provided in an APU/integrated solution or dGPU, it's almost inevitable. You think the you don't own what you purchased was bad, well, we ain't seen nothing yet.
