Valve Updates That It Needs to Solidify Memory and Storage Costs Before It Can Commit to Pricing for the Steam Machine, Controller, and Frame

Surprised they don't have supply agreements in place already, unless the suppliers told them to take a hike unless they pay an updated cost.
 
I have a feeling someone dropped the ball in getting contracts in place early enough and by the time a decision was made it was too late.
