After Nearly $1 Billion in Crowdfunding and 13 Years in Development, Star Citizen Is Nearly, Nah, Who’re We Kidding, It’s Never Going to Happen

So I play star citizen quite a bit. Lately I have just given up.
The game would be pretty fun if they stopped and fixed the bugs...which they dont and never seem to.
They the constantly break the same things they have fixed in the same way it was broken before.

They must have the worst development practices of any software company....ever.
What I cant understand is why they never take a break to fix stuff?
Inventory is still broken and horrible.
Missions break randomly.
You randomly die from falling through the world, your ship un-expectedly blowing up for no apparent reason, or from simply not being able to pull the gun out you had just used 5 seconds ago.
The travel system randomly break and makes it nearly impossible to get where you want to go.
I could go on but I wont.

This would be a really good game if it wasn't so **** broken....
They need to hire some real developers and not Chris Roberts sycophants to do the project management and development.
Why hasn't this happened yet? Only they know but I feel like there should be a lawsuit here somewhere.

Chris - Check your $@#$ing priorities!!!!!!!

@Peter_Brosdahl - Can you run an article like this once a month on star citizen until they fix it? (So for the rest of your life?)

I still feel dirty that I backed this for a couple hundred bucks back in 2013... 20 FREAKING 13!!!

I'd love 20 minutes alone with Chris Roberts in a room with no repercussions. I'd seriously vent my frustrations into re arranging his features.

I'd just take his coke money. Call it interest on my ground floor investment.

I wonder how many people who actually did the hard work got their own mansions or did the founder funnel all the money into his Swiss bank accounts.

If they fix it, the money stops coming eventually. If they don't, they can keep promising a better tomorrow and stay in business.

Simple: You can't charge money for fixes.

Yes they can its an MMO so month charges incoming + sales of new ships for real $$$ wont stop either.

So they would get more money if they stop and fixed stuff.
I wont spend a dollar on that buggy piece of ****.
I would spend more than a dollar if it wasnt so broken all the time.

Thats the rub they have hundreds of millions in backing that include a stand alone persistent universe that individuals can run. They release a paid MMO beside that they might have some legal liabilities.
