Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Cooler Review

I just ordered a Coolmaster 240MM AIO to replace my Wraith Prism for the 2700X at work. I'm currently getting 50-55c readings from CoreTemp under little to no load (2-5% total load). I hope to bring those temps down to the 40's or lower (ambient temp is currently 25c).

That seems a bit toasty for almost no use but I don't have any experience with that CPU. My 4930k holds the same temps, fan @ 100%, with 50%-60% load. Hits around 65c at 80-90% load.

Intel is different for idle temps, Ryzen reports higher because a lot of programs force 1-2 cores to boost for no reason. My 3770K @ 4.4ghz idled in the 30C area, my 2600X idles around 45-50C (30C area if I'm doing absolutely nothing). I had to change my fan profile so it doesn't ramp up until like 60C. In game it hits maybe 65C max which is about what the 3770K hit.

Good to know since I'm in the early stages of planning an AMD build for when I retire my 2600k rig.
