Sadly, prior to posting this, I saw a bunch of stories throughout the week relating to either datacenter, or mobile/laptop stuff. I'm starting to wonder if they intend to compete for high-end consumer desktop processors ever again. It seems like they intend their consumer CPUs to be mostly mobile-oriented now and are made to be dropped into either desktops or laptops. I could be wrong, as it gets challenging to track all their different SKUs, but at a glance, that's how it looks and for now, the 14900K is the end of the line there.
Although it will be interesting to see what the 285K does when IPO is tested on it.
