Corsair K70 RGB Pro mechanical keyboard...

Nice thanks for sharing. I updated mine just fine and that is a relief. My motherboard doesn't have any onboard USB ports less than 5 gig. so a slower one would be hard to find! I'm using the cable that came with the keyboard too. Interesting.

I mean technically these ARE refurbs...

The noise doesn't bother me though I came from a K70 with Cherry MX blues.

Are you sure there's not at least 1 older/slower USB port on the motherboard, for stuff like mice/keyboards? But moot point anyway if it worked for you no issues.

Yeah there should at least be one USB 2.0 header inside
 
Oh yea there are a couple USB 2.0 headers and 2 USB 3.0 headers and one USB C header 3.2 I believe.
