It's cool to see Thermalright expanding into other products beyond coolers. My first Thermalright cooler was an SI-97. Their products always seem like high quality for the price in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the 24 cores description. I knew it was a mix of two different cores, but thought at least the i9 would have a majority of big cores. Shouldn't these chips be on intel 10nm+ node? Or whatever the crazy new name for intel's nodes are...

Thanks for the great review Brent! The power consumption increase to go from 4.8 to 5.0ghz with Adaptive Boost enabled, wow. Impressive putting that 280mm AIO to work. Overall the potential platform dead end is tough to swallow given the 11900's price vs the other tested CPUs.

7nm Intel sounds good, I hope it turns out better than 10nm. AMD will probably be on 5nm TSMC, but I'm guessing intel 7nm will be about equal to TSMC 5nm?

I'm surprised, I was expecting Intel to be about 3% faster than AMD. Since this is the 11700 being compared, is there some magic sauce in the 8 core 11900 to put Intel back on top of the octa-core heap? Because increased latency within the chip itself can only be compensated by increasing...

6nm node? Who's manufacturing that? Is it just CPU architecture that intel can't move off of 14nm with good yields?

Totally, the Ultra branding by Nvidia has been around for a long time, since Geforce2. Then Geforce FX really abused the Ultra branding. Nvidia should leave the Ultra branding for the top non titan level card, 3080ultra. Just my 2 cents.

I can remember playing both Goodeneye and Perfect Dark on N64 with friends. Perfect Dark was definitely the one I enjoyed more. Perfect Dark and a bottle of Jolt cola, good times!
