nVidia 30xx series configurations pricing UPDATED...

The 3090 is closer to Titan pricing than Ti, by the time it gets here to EU, it will be probably close to $2000. If not outright over it.
The 24GB ram also makes it more a Titan replacement than a strictly gaming oriented card.

3090 is $1399 (founders $100 premium) -- Titan RTX is $2,500.00 - Do you mean Titan is nearly twice price perhaps? 2080 Ti selling for $1300 (founders was around $1200) -- Titan had features that made it more than a gaming card unlike the 3090 which is a gaming card by design.

leaks are already appearing for the 3070 Ti with 16GB VRAM...I'm guessing this and the 3080 20GB version are being held back until Nvidia sees what Big Navi brings to the table...

"What this means is that Lenovo may still rely on old data, which could’ve changed over the past few days. Another point that this might not be accurate is that all cards (3080/3070Ti/3070) are listed with GDDR6 non-X memory. Thus, theoretically, these might be custom OEM variants of some sort that NVIDIA did not announce yet with slower memory technology."

I said the 3090 will be closer to $2000 even over it by the time I can get it in the EU, nothing else. That is closer to $2500 than $1300, isn't it?
Even nvidia calls the 3080 the flagship. The 3090 being the halo / prosumer product.

1399 - 3090

I would image all models could go up in price if shortages are common place -- Then again the 2080 Ti itself had models climb up and past $1500 (US), odds are the 3090 will do same..

Report: Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 GPUS To Be In Short Supply Until 2021

One of the primary reasons that Nvidia decided to go with the Samsung 8nm process was because the company would allow them to overcome the capacity constraints inherent in buying from TSMC...TweakTown is reporting that stock is going to be scarce until the end of the year and if you want in on the Ampere GPU craze before then, you better preorder

the reason given was that Nvidia is unsure of the maximum yield of Samsung's process and considering the clear performance advantage they have over basically everything, they want to (voluntarily) reduce the numbers of wafers produced till yield can be maximized at Samsung's end...

what minimum watt PSU do I need for a 3080/3090?...I'm not planning on getting a 10900K but I'm looking for the worst case scenario...

I assume you mean 3080/3090?

Nvidia specs for those suggest 750w minimum.

Assume you can go as high as 400w with an OC on those, 200-250 for the rest of the system under load and a little left over....

yup 3080/3090 (I did a ninja edit before you responded)...I'm planning on a new build soon and I recently bought a new Corsair RM750x but even with Nvidia suggesting a 750w PSU I was concerned about cutting it close...since the RM750x is still unopened I was debating returning it and getting the 850w model...but even the 750w suggestion by Nvidia is probably a bit overkill and they purposely over-spec'd it to play it safe

For new builds, make sure you get 2x 8pin EPS12v leads on the power supply as all the high end boards seem to be rolling that direction these days. That's become a bit of a limiting factor when shifting test systems around here...

The 3070Ti throws me off. Its not that I dont believe a Ti edition is incoming quite the contrary, I see one for sure coming. Its just that its easier for me to imagine them making a 3080 Ti or even 3090 Ti as opposed to a 3070 Ti.
I have been wrong before so we will see.
(Intel's Garbage 10th Gen naming is so bad I thought it was fake)

Jesus, I just cannot justify spending that kind of bucks on a video card!!!!!

I'll wait and grab a 2080Ti for a third of the cheap prices. :p
