Cyberpunk 2077 Was Only Hated On Because It Was the “Cool” Thing to Do, CDPR Says

There was an internet bandwagon effect to capitalize on clicks and views for revenue generation, though. Plenty of people were enjoying the game in spite of the launch issues, which were still pointed out, but I believe that it definitely became "cool" to hate on the game. You still see people...

FINAL FANTASY XVI Announces 3 Million Copies Sold, Making It the Fastest-Selling PS5 Exclusive Ever

For comparison's sake, Cyberpunk 2077 sold over 5 million copies on PC alone in its first week of release. If we're breaking down multiplatform releases by platform, then Cyberpunk makes Final Fantasy XVI look not as impressive.

AMD Announces It Is Bethesda’s Exclusive PC Partner for Starfield, Killing All Hopes of NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Frame Generation Implementation: “We ...

We'll get there, eventually, but the current trend of linear increase in price with transistor node shrinkage means it will still be needed for affordable performance. The 4090 can already run things like Cyberpunk 2077 full overdrive RT without DLSS at sub-4K resolution smoothly. At 4K we're...

Microsoft Plans to Move Windows 11 “Increasingly to the Cloud”

DXR ray tracing support with VKD3D is spotty, at best, and since it needs to translate the DXR calls to VK RT it means a general decrease in performance compared to native. You may not care about ray tracing, but I and others do.

Marvel’s Avengers Adds Paid XP and Resource Boosts, Breaking Earlier Promises

The virtue signaling Ms. Marvel is the main character in the single player, so you're not missing anything.

Hitman Removed from GOG Due to DRM Controversy

Except that it wasn't DRM. Expect whatever version comes out later, if one even comes out, to be completely neutered from a feature perspective since the community apparently believes that any online requirement == DRM.

Back 4 Blood Blocks Achievements, Stat Tracking, and Progression for Solo Players

Except they didn't have Valve this time around to polish their gameplay for them. Turtle Rock had a great idea with L4D, but Valve polished it to the classic that it is.

Airless Tires Are Coming to Passenger Vehicles as Early as 2024

I don't see this type of tire being practical for racing conditions. They give way too easily. The ribbed structure would have to be reinforced considerably. Maybe a sidewall would be enough.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Trailer Released, Hits Theaters November 24

The international trailer is a lot better. I was quite deflated after watching the American one, but got my hopes back after watching this one. Whoever cut the American version needs to be slapped.

Valve Patents “Instant Play” Feature for Steam, Allowing Users to Play Games Before They’re Finished Downloading

I feel the same way, but it's a good option to have for the majority of people who are still on a poor internet connection.

Crysis Remastered Is Finally Coming to Steam

Crysis Remastered uses Crytek's ray tracing method through the shader pipeline. It is not using DXR, so older video cards can still enable "ray tracing."

Gran Turismo 7’s 25th Anniversary Edition and Pre-Order Items Detailed, Launching for PS5 and PS4 on March 4, 2022

They just kept getting better. GT4 was the best entry in the series and ultimately has the best campaign. It also carried over the 1080i support, do I preferred 720p for the lack of interlacing. GT6 is often forgotten, but it was really a return to form of the greatness of GT4, though the...

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Announced, Launching Exclusively for PlayStation 5 and PC

Getting the cut content properly restored would probably be worth it. I'm kind of dreading thinking about what they'll do to the combat since it's a remake.

Forza Horizon 5 Reveals Huge Preliminary Car List with over 400 Vehicles

It's basically just the recycled list they have been using for the past 5 or so releases thus far. I only counted 3 or 4 in the current list that haven't been in any Forza game before.

PlayStation 5 Pro Will Be Released in 2023 or 2024, It’s Claimed

Isn't MLD the guy who throws everything at the wall hoping something sticks? Kind of like WCCFTech, only in Youtube format.

Paramount Delays Top Gun: Maverick to May 2022 and Mission: Impossible 7 to September 2022

That is Ghost Protocol, and I didn't really like it all too much.

Patty Jenkins Criticizes Streaming Movies, Says HBO Max Release was “Detrimental” to Wonder Woman 1984

Pedro Pascal was definitely fantastic and pretty much the only thing that held that movie together. The character was as ridiculous as the rest of the story, but Pascal's acting chops truly made the best of the character. Ironically, his character is the only one in the entire movie with a...

Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Opens to an Impressive $71.4 Million

I found it surprisingly good. It now ranks among the best in the MCU, in my opinion, up there with the original Iron Man and Winter Soldier.
